Most marketing agencies have no idea how heavy equipment or commercial contracting actually sells.

A $300,000 vacuum truck can take months to sell. A commercial roofing contract often takes longer. The buyers are specific. The decision committees are real. A campaign that doesn’t speak their language doesn’t just underperform — it tells the buyer you don’t understand their world. So they go somewhere else.

That’s the gap Connexis was built to close.

Connor grew up inside both industries. Her father built a commercial contracting company. Her uncle spent his career selling heavy equipment. Bid timelines, dealer territories, vacuum truck specs, roofing crews—that vocabulary was her first language. When she studied marketing at SMU and looked at how her dad’s company was actually getting business, the problem was obvious. A successful contractor surviving in 2018 on referrals and mailers because every agency that came through treated his company’s services like a consumer or residential product.

Same story everywhere she looked. Serious companies. Serious track records. Almost nothing online that reflected either.

Connexis was founded in 2018 to fix that for these two industries.
